Overview
ASTM A213 Grade 310H Tube has good resistance to oxidation at temperatures of up to 1040 Degree C (1904 Degree F) in intermittent service and 1150 Degree C (2102 Degree F) in continuous service. It is widely used in environments where sulfur dioxide gas is present at high temperatures. However, the 310H tube is recommended that this steel should not be continuously used at 425-860 Degree C (797-1580 Degree F) range due to carbide precipitation. In high temperature service, The tube exhibit good resistance to oxidising and carburising atmospheres, and resist fuming nitric acid at room temperature and fused nitrates up to 425 Degree C.

Applications
