Overview

Grade 321H is a modification of 321 with a higher carbon content, to provide improved high temperature strength. 321 Stainless Steel Tubes has slightly increased oxidation resistance in sturdy corrosion conditions resulting from tantalum and columbium addition. It is the great version of the carbon alloy, which increases creep resistance and tough strength. It gives higher properties of stress rupture and creeps rupture than grade 304 alloy. It is also using for exposures where intergranular oxidation and sensitization are needed.

Although the 321 Stainless Steel properties are amazing, but the 321H Seamless Tubes specifically do not work well in sulphuric acid, small concentrations, or chloride solutions. Therefore, 321H Tubes should be used for applications needing alternating heating between 850 degrees F and 1600 degrees F.TP 321H Seamless Tubes of high-temperature corrosion resistance are similar to the grade SS304, cannot be toughened by heat treatment, and can be finished only by cold working.
